Installer – Van Conversion Specialist Location: Clackamas, Oregon Employment Type: Subcontractor (1099) Hours & Pay Type: Flexible hours M-F 9-5. Responsibilities: · Install and customize our DIY kits and 3rd party van upfit components onto customer-supplied vans. · Aptitude for reading and interpreting installation manuals, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures. · Perform light metalworking, woodworking, and general fabrication. · Work independently and follow high-quality installation standards with attention to detail, with the ability to adjust and communicate installation practices as needed. · Operate and maintain an organized, safe, and clean workspace. · Ensure attention to fit-and-finish and meet all quality standards and QC requirements. Skills & Tools: · Strong aptitude using a variety of tools—including drills, table saws, band saws, skill saws, jig saws, drill presses, grinders, Rivet-nut, and smaller hand tools. · Precisely align and assemble prefab'd cabinetry, rail and bracket assemblies, ensuring parallel alignment and spacing, adjusting and fine-tuning cabinet doors and hinges. · DC electrical and/or simple plumbing skill/experience desirable (not required).
