Overview: • SMAF completes a wide variety of projects including excavation, rock crushing, traffic control, environmental cleanup, snow removal and more. • If qualified, or after training/certification you might work on a rock crusher, be flagging or possibly even some operating [excavators, skid steer, backhoe, ect] • All Utility personnel must be capable and willing to complete ground labor tasks and flagging projects. • Training provided for crusher, environmental and flagging duties. • Most jobs are local with the possibility of occasional travel for environmental or other duties. • Must be capable of following directions, safety practices and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: • Valid Driver’s License • At Least 21+ Years Old (Insurance) • Pre-Employment Drug Screen Required Preferred Skills (Not Required): • Flagger Certification/Experience • MSHA/Crusher Experience • Some Equipment Operating a plus! If you'd love to work outdoors on a small, beautiful, non-commercial organic property, please consider helping us. Pays $20 - 25 per hour, depending on your experience. We're located 5 minutes east of Whole Foods/The Forum, and need p/t help with flower and vegetable gardens, along with a bit of help working with farm animals and pastures. Our focus is on flower gardens; planting, sorting, weeding, propagating, general maintenance. Must have experience with hand weeding, plant identification, yard tools such as push and riding lawn mowers, weed whackers, hand tools, etc. Experience working with horses, orchards, and irrigation a plus but not required. Avg. 3 to 6 hours per week, flexible hours. Must be fit enough to lift a 75LB bale of hay, spend time on your knees, hand weeding, and walking around our 10 acre property performing various chores.
