Doggy Daycare Hotel - HIRING LATENIGHT AND OVERNIGHT DOG HANDLERS (7551 Sunset Blvd Los Angeles)

Dog-E-Den is a busy Dog Care facility in Hollywood, located on Sunset Blvd., and we are looking for responsible dog handlers to join our team. Dog handlers supervise, care for, and play with our canine guests. We are searching for motivated dog lovers who don't mind getting dirty or doing hard work. Employees must be available to work weekends and on holidays, as this is our busiest time. POSITION HOURS ARE: Available Night Shifts: -5pm-11pm/12am -8pm-4am Overnight open availability is a plus! Description: - Supervising play - Feeding meals - Administering medications - Washing dog dishes - Janitorial Duties - And other General cleaning and maintenance chores will be assigned daily -Being on your feet for up to 8 hours This is an enjoyable job with animals, but staff are not here just to "pet puppies"; there is barking, flying hair, dirty paws, and very physical work involved. This position can also lead to a supervising role for the right candidate. Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and should be comfortable handling all types of dogs in a humane manner. Applicants should have a flexible schedule that allows them to work nights if necessary. You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift, including spending long periods of time on your feet. You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team. Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, please be responsible, honest, patient and prompt; possess good verbal communication skills, a sense of humor, but most importantly, a positive attitude AND MUST LOVE DOGS!!!.
