All Star Labor & Staffing is currently looking for a reliable candidate to work for a company located in the Eugene area as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Employee. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.02 - $20.61 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Shift: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Workdays: • Monday to Friday Job description We are a family-owned organization dedicated to providing quality products and services to bakeries, schools, restaurants, and other food outlets seeking wholesome, local foods. We are looking for a stable, reliable delivery driver to work steady, consistent hours at our mill location. A willingness and desire to pursue Class A CDL certification is a plus. Below are a few of the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker job responsibilities and essential requirements: · Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds. Load and unload products for delivery. · Deliver weekly deliveries to customers in Portland and surrounding areas, twice a week. · Must be able to stand and or sit for the duration of the shift. · Perform pre and post trip inspections on vehicle driven. Report any defects to an appropriate supervisor. · Drive a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. · Have good organizational skills and be able to prepare shipping documents. · Weekly pull orders for the next day’s deliveries. · Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. · Demonstrate ability to be a team player and be able to lead when needed. · Have an insurable driving record. · Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public by maintaining a professional representation in all interactions and through responsible driving. · Effectively work and communicate well with others, work at a fast pace, have a can-do attitude and contribute to the working relationships in the company. Physical Effort: · Must have the physical strength and stamina for constant sitting, standing, walking, and lifting during the shift. · Must be able to work flexible hours and work overtime as needed. · Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
