We are seeking a reliable and safety-driven Construction Safety Officer to join our team on active construction sites across Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction safety practices, OSHA regulations, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies - Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments - Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site orientations - Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions - Maintain documentation for OSHA compliance and other regulatory requirements - Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety - Enforce PPE and safety protocol adherence across all trades on site Qualifications: - Minimum 1 year of safety experience on construction sites.. -Familiarity with OSHA standards and Cal/OSHA regulations -Current OSHA Construction Safety certification (preferred) -CPR/First Aid certification (preferred) -Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills -Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and navigate active construction zones.
