Automotive Mechanic/Technician – OEM Certified Repair Shop Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Automotive Repair & Maintenance *Position Summary* We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team at our OEM Certified Auto Shop. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles and is committed to delivering reliable, high-quality work. Mechanic / Technical Duties: -Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems including brakes, engines, suspension, HVAC, and electrical. -Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, etc.). -Conduct multi-point inspections and confirm findings for repair order accuracy. -Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot issues efficiently. -Follow OEM procedures and industry standards for all repairs and maintenance. -Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Qualifications: -5+ years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic, service writer, or ideally both. -Strong technical knowledge to ensure accurate repair documentation and confident communication with customers. -ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain). -Proficient in Mitchell1/ShopKey software -Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. -Strong communication ability—able to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly way. -Positive attitude, dependable, and a true team player. -Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. -High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
