Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at a leading pottery supply distributor. This role is essential to ensuring efficient warehouse operations and delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about supporting the creative community. Key Responsibilities Working the front counter assisting customers with purchases Accurately pick, pack, and ship pottery supplies to meet daily order fulfillment goals Safely handle and transport materials including clay, tools, glazes, and equipment Maintain organized inventory and ensure stock levels are properly recorded and replenished Provide knowledgeable and courteous assistance to customers regarding products and orders Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and inspect items for quality assurance Support daily operational tasks such as cleaning, merchandising, and maintaining a tidy workspace Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner Uphold high standards of customer service to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience Qualifications Previous warehouse or retail experience preferred but not required Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Check in as needed to ensure office dispatcher and/or field supervisor are aware of your status. Secure parts and tools needed throughout the day for various jobs as required. Consult field supervisor or dispatcher in times of uncertainty. Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, confident manner throughout the entire service so that they are aware of what is going on inside their home/business. Ability to adjust your communications to provide the best customer experience possible. Ability to create detailed job notes in the customer’s account for future reference.
