This is a part-time position (3 days/week) with flexible scheduling during the winter season and on-the-job training with room to grow. 💰 Starting Pay: $19.50/hour 📍 Location: FivePine Lodge – Sisters, OR 🕒 Schedule: 3 days/week, variable shifts (including weekends/holidays) Primary Duties Include: Landscaping and groundskeeping Snow removal (Winter) Light to medium room maintenance Splitting & stacking firewood Water feature maintenance (Summer) General care of the FivePine Lodge campus & grounds Opportunity to grow and learn new maintenance skills What We’re Looking For: Base knowledge of landscaping/maintenance Self-directed and dependable Eager to learn with a positive, can-do attitude Great time management & communication skills Able to work independently or as part of a team Courteous and professional with guests and coworkers Requirements: Valid Oregon driver’s license & reliable year-round transportation High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, etc.) Available to work a flexible rotating schedule (between 6am and 6:30pm) Weekend/holiday availability required 6 months landscaping experience preferred, but not required Shifts May Include: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Snow removal call-in) 9:00am – 5:30pm 10:00am – 6:30pm Weekend coverage and some holidays required Schedule created on a monthly basis and is typically available two weeks before the start of each month. JOB SUMMARY Maintenance Technicians work under the supervision of the Facilities Director and are required to perform a wide variety of skilled duties including skilled painting, problems in plumbing, electrical, mechanical. Maintain records of work performed by completing work orders. Maintain inventory of materials on hand and materials used. Follow established safety procedure in the performance of maintenance duties. Reports equipment malfunction or breakdown and defective equipment to a supervisor as soon as possible, if unable to correct. Attend seminars, in-services, and educational or technical classes as necessary. Maintains professional working relationships with residents and co-workers.
