Also manage construction document development, modifications, and reviews in REVIT.    Knowledge of code, regulations, products, and applications.   Guide and mentor junior designers.  Lead in selecting fixtures and finishes  Collaborate on projects with architectural team and acts as a liaison for interior’s team.   Manage external consultants such as MEP, structural engineers, low voltage designers, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.  Identify and pursue project opportunities.  Supports the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews.     Listen to clients and provide design solutions that fits the budget, and timeline.  Also may participate in client focused organizations at a leadership level.  You will love our Full-Spectrum Approach™! Typically, 8+ years of progressive experience.    Experience in various commercial, educational, and/ or hospitality project types and scales is preferred.  Extensive understanding of interior architectural systems and design.  Proficient in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam studio, Adobe Design Programs. The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in K-12 Construction Project Management to serve as an Interior Designer with the below qualifications: Confer with clients to evaluate their furniture, fixtures, and equipment needs and develop efficient solutions within budget, schedule, and standards. Develop space plans and interior architectural layouts; and select furnishings, equipment, and interior finishes for schools in accordance with District and industry standards. Participate in the development of District design specifications, including interior finish and electrical requirements; and provides detailed furniture and equipment cost estimates to design teams. Review and evaluate construction documents and visits project sites to confirm that space plans, design concepts, and selected furniture and equipment are safe, functional, and aesthetically appropriate and meet all public health, safety, and welfare requirements including fire and life safety code, accessibility, environmental, and sustainability guidelines. Plan and conduct meetings and site visits to evaluate and review project needs and status. Advise school personnel and Facilities staff regarding the selection and procurement of furniture, equipment, and interior layouts and finishes. Supervise assigned projects by coordinating and working with assigned staff tasked with logistics and procurement of furniture and equipment to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Develop, schedule, coordinate, review, and receive furniture and equipment orders. Provide furniture and equipment specifications and scope to create procurement contracts. Consult with manufacturers and vendors regarding the production of custom products and provides ideas, improvements, and designs for products required by the District and to solicit best value products. Prepare detailed reports and records for furniture and equipment provisioning. Manage and update lists of furniture, equipment, manufacturers, and vendors used by the District. Create interior drawings and visual aids for review and approval. Make recommendations regarding procedures, guidelines, and product standards for furniture and equipment. Assist sites in replacement of furniture and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Required Qualifications 8 years’ full-time paid professional experience conceptualizing, planning selecting, and coordinating interior layouts, interior building finishes, furniture, and equipment Experience working in a public agency or school construction or modernization is preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Interior design, architecture, or related field OR Completion of 40 semester units or equivalent related to interior design from a recognized college or university and additional two (2) years’ experience to compensate for education. PRESCHOOL DANCE TEACHER - Teacher will come to our Fine Arts Daycare 4 mornings per week from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Will take students age 2 - 5 to the studio room for dance instruction, groups will rotate every 20 minutes. The teacher is responsible to follow the dance syllabus and offer fun, creative and educational classes in Ballet, Tap and Creative Movement. The Dance Teacher is responsible to work with a team member to create recital dances for each group, and also be available for 2 evening recitals in May to help children on the stage. I am looking for someone dependable who loves working with children and sharing the love of dance with them. These hours are perfect for a college student working around a school schedule or a mom after she drops children off at school. Requirements Candidates must have a dance background and be knowledgeable with French Ballet Terms and Tap combination patterns. I would prefer that candidates have experience teaching dance classes but am also willing to guide an experienced dancer. Preschool Dance Teachers must wear dance clothing and dance shoes. We find that our little ones idolize their dance teachers and we want a teacher that sets a good example for them.
