Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Port St. Lucie, Florida Salary: $55k to $60K a year Job Type: Full-Time Work Hours: Monday - Friday (9 AM – 5 PM) Position Summary: We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on care and help patients reach their recovery goals. What You’ll Do: Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic activities Monitor and document patient progress and responses to therapy Provide patient and family education as needed Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment Communicate effectively with the rehab team to ensure continuity of care Requirements Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Current and valid Florida PTA license CPR/BLS certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Prior experience in a clinical or rehab setting is a plus (new grads welcome!)
