As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to help assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Requirements Education: Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited college or university Licensure: State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant Skills: Strong knowledge and application of speech therapy techniques and strategies Experience in providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Population: Experience working with pediatrics is preferred, but not required Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday Work Setting: In-person Benefits Dental insurance Disability insurance Referral program Vision insurance
