Who you are You have a passion for floral design and a keen, creative eye. Have a demonstrated proficiency in various floral design techniques and principles. You will be committed to deliver exceptional customer service and superior communication skills. You should have ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines with poise. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish will be considered a significant asset, but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail. What you'll do Create breathtaking floral designs suitable for our fast-paced floral shop and market. Interact with customers, grasping their visions and translating them into floral masterpieces. Handle e-commerce partner design requirements while also showcasing originality in other creations. Ensure the proper care, processing, and storage of incoming flowers and greenery. Maintain an organized, clean workspace, including the flower coolers. Requirements Ability to work well both in a team and independently. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Creativity and exceptional floral design skills. Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong customer service skills, including patience, empathy, and problem-solving. General knowledge of flower names is a plus. Must be able to work in a retail flower shop and occasionally work on-site at events. The work environment may be fast-paced and require extended periods of standing and lifting. Flexibility in work schedule, which may include evenings and weekends.
