About the Role As a Salon Host, you are the face and the backbone of Substance Salon. From giving clients an outstanding first impression at check-in to supporting stylists on the floor with hands-on help, this position plays a crucial role in delivering the Substance experience. This role includes Front Desk Responsibilities Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing confirmations and reschedules Recommending services and upselling when appropriate Checking guests in and out with professionalism and efficiency Supporting retail sales and product education Maintaining a polished and welcoming front-of-house environment Salon Support Responsibilities Assisting stylists with shampooing, blow drying, and treatments Maintaining salon cleanliness including towels, stations, floors, and restrooms Prepping stations and ensuring smooth transitions between guests Observing and learning salon systems, guest experience protocols, and stylist workflow Participating in team huddles and stylist mentorship About Us Substance Salon has been a leader in the beauty industry for over 16 years.
