Selling my 2001 Ford Explorer XLT (2WD). This SUV is in exceptional condition inside and out – far cleaner than most you’ll find for this year. It runs and drives strong, has been well maintained, and is ready for its next owner. Mileage: 152,264 Engine: V6, automatic Drivetrain: 2WD Condition: Excellent overall – very clean inside & out Features: Power windows/locks, cold AC & strong heater, cruise control, AM/FM/CD stereo, alloy wheels, roof rack Recent maintenance: [Oil changed every 3,000 miles and other routine services. Tires, brakes, battery are no issues. Title: Clean title in hand Registration/Smog: [Passed every time] Notes: Front driver’s side and rear driver’s side doors don’t currently open from the outside (likely actuator/handle issue); but can still opened from the inside. Rear liftgate doesn’t open, but the rear glass window does. Those problems are minor and fixable. All other doors work fine. [Why priced above Kelley Blue Book:] KBB lists older vehicles in “average” condition between $1,700–$2,700. This Explorer is in exceptional condition, both interior and exterior, and has been very well taken care of. If you’ve looked at other Explorers of this year, you’ll see the difference immediately. Clean, well-kept examples like this are harder to find, which is why I’m asking $3,500 OBO.
