2013 Ford Escape - PROJECT CAR - $1,050 (Northeast DC)

READ THIS LISTING CAREFULLY. This car is *AS IS, WHERE IS* - and I want to get it sold ASAP. DO NOT message me if you are not a serious buyer. The price is firm - the parts alone are worth more than double right now. You must tow the car away when you buy - it does not run and cannot be fixed on the street. One tire is flat. This vehicle is in decent exterior condition and has a clear title, but here's the mechanical rundown: 1) there are intermittent problems with the transmission. I don't know whether it needs to be replaced or repaired. 2) the engine should be good but has not been run in 3 years 3) the airbag light goes off and on intermittently. The central airbag computer may need to be replaced, as I previously have replaced a couple of the sensors with no luck getting the intermittent airbag light to go off. Also there are some cracks in the windshield. Would be fine in DC but would have an issue in MD inspection (and maybe Virginia, I don't know) The car has not been driven in about 36 months. The price has been set at $1050 firm if someone picks it up ASAP. The car is located on the street in Northeast DC. Someone who knows what they are doing can get this car back in great shape quickly or use it for parts.
