Requirements Field Engineer – HVAC Test and Balance Technician - This is where you come in. We are seeking a Field Engineer – HVAC Test and Balance Technician who holds one of the following certifications: NEBB, AABC, or TABB. Certification is required to ensure our team meets the highest industry standards for Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) in commercial HVAC systems. This role focuses on performing certified TAB services on specialized HVAC systems in commercial facilities, ensuring performance aligns with engineered design plans. An immediate position is open for a Project Administrator at an established HVAC company in Brooklyn NY. Duties and preferred requirements: Oversee HVAC projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate and schedule work with general contractors and/or customers. Attend meetings on site. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, suppliers, employees and other sub-contractors on job sites. Oversee work progression by piping and sheet metal mechanics to ensure scheduled completion of job is on track. Ascertain and coordinate job site requirements with regards to equipment, tools, material and labor with the Engineer. Communicate and resolve with management any issues occurring at job sites. Prepare, release and track purchase orders for equipment and material for job sites. Ensure equipment and material deliveries are accurate and complete. Schedule delivery of equipment to job sites and oversee installation. Take field measurements, report on variances and make any adjustments needed. Submit and track submittals and change orders. Create and track RFIs. Prepare and submit close out documents as requested by customers. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to read CAD drawings. CAD drafting experience a PLUS. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and in a timely manner. Able to work in a fast paced, challenging environment supervised or independently. Must be dependable and detail oriented. PAGANI STUDIO is a luxury lighting design and manufacturing studio located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The studio has been producing high-end lighting fixtures for 2+ decades, here in Brooklyn. Our clientele spans the residential, commercial, and nautical sectors. We design, fabricate, and assemble our product here in house, in a small team setting. We are looking for an on-site (NOT remote) part time PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER with a strong lighting fixture engineering background. We design large scale lighting fixtures and a background in structural engineering is preferred. You must be an excellent communicator, a good team player, who is detailed focused, who values fine craftsmanship and who is friendly. The role demands a blend of engineering and design development, and working closely with the designers/ principals, and the production and purchasing team. YOU - must have experience with working in a small to medium team setting, you must have strong SolidWorks skills, and knowledge of lighting fixture design and LED lamping technologies is strongly preferred. You must be meticulous about file organization and naming convention. Fabrication knowledge and experience is a plus. The successful candidate must have experience managing ecological construction projects such as wetland construction/rehabilitation, stream and shoreline restoration, invasive species control, habitat creation/restoration, native planting and seeding, and green infrastructure projects. Project management, including tracking project budgets, client interaction, scheduling staff and equipment, reviewing deliverables, interacting with agency representatives, etc. Supervision and mentoring of junior staff. Program budgeting and strategic planning. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, natural resources, ecology, geography or related field. Experience: 12-20 years of experience with a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in the industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Well versed in relevant NY State and Federal regulations. Experience leading and mentoring junior staff. Demonstrated ability to pursue, establish and maintain client business relationships.
