Summit Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced electronic systems, including lighting control, motorized shades, security, surveillance, and networking systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform advanced programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of: • Lighting Control Systems • Motorized Shades • Control Systems (Control4/Savant) • Network and Wireless Systems • Security and Surveillance Systems • Install, modify, and repair electronic systems as needed. • Direct and oversee junior programmers and technicians (TT1, TT2, and Lead Technicians). • Manage field change orders, RFIs, and daily job reports. • Provide client training on system operation and functionality. • Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are organized and ready for use. • Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager and team members. • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). JOB REQUIREMENTS: • 5-10 years of experience in programming and configuring electronic systems. • Completion of certified programs in networking, security, and control systems. • Proficiency in programming languages and software relevant to system controls. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities. • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent. • Additional certifications or degrees in programming, electronics, or related fields are a plus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Job may require working in diverse conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. • Must be comfortable working on construction sites and utilizing site facilities.
