Carolina Electronics is hiring! We are an electronics installation company that specializes in installing TV and HSIA systems in hotels. Basic knowledge of coax, data cable, and satellite installations would be a plus. Must be able to pass a drug test. This job is on the road mostly in the mid-Atlantic area. Provide expert-level support, mentor junior engineers, and participate in on-call rotations. Work with vendors on technology selection. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Expert level knowledge and experience in network routing and switching. Deep expertise in networking protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VLANs, STP, firewalls, VPNs. Proven experience configuring and managing network hardware from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet. Strong understanding of network security best practices. Strong understanding of Unix/Linux based operating systems. Strong organization and time management skills. Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Experience Experience with hyperscale network design and implementation. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash). Compensation and Benefits Base Salary Range: $135,000 - $220,000 Annually Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on many factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
