Whether it's for streaming setups or supporting high-traffic wellness facilities, you bring a calm, capable approach to technical challenges. Role Overview: In this field-based role, you’ll be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing temporary and semi-permanent network setups across a range of locations. From streaming hubs to wellness centers, you’ll ensure robust, secure, and high-performance connectivity in fast-changing environments. This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who excels in real-world problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Travel to job sites and build temporary or portable network environments to support streaming and workstation operations. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and connectivity issues, often under tight time constraints. Manage bandwidth allocation to ensure seamless streaming performance. Implement and maintain security protocols, including VPNs, encryption, and firewall policies. Document network configurations and provide clear usage guidelines for on-site teams. Collaborate closely with content production and wellness staff to anticipate and address technical needs. Required Experience & Skills: Strong working knowledge of networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Ubiquiti, MikroTik). Hands-on experience with QoS (Quality of Service) for streaming/video use cases. Demonstrated ability to deploy secure, stable networks in unpredictable or fast-changing environments. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Comfortable interacting with clients, staff, and high-profile individuals in professional settings. Willingness to travel frequently within Los Angeles and occasionally beyond. Proven experience in network administration, ideally in live production or event settings. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent experience. In support of USSOCOM the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Targeting Training Element (STTE) provides SOF personnel advanced Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) training. Training focuses on targeting using collection, network characterization, and analysis across the Radio Frequency spectrum for the purpose of supporting Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze and Disseminate (F3EAD). The purpose of this requirement is to provide subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and deliver classroom instruction and practical exercise programs of instruction (POI) for SOF SIGINT operators and authorized Foreign Partner government personnel on advanced TTPs for collection and exploitation of current and emerging technologies and protocols for SIGINT. Senior Wireless (Wi-Fi) Instructor / Network Engineer will: Develop, update, review, and deliver (instruct/present) required POI techniques, tactics, and procedures for Advanced Wi-Fi Operations courses (See Wi-Fi Course SOW). This shall include tasks such as: Provide team-level management of contractor staff performance regarding coordination activities with Government staff, to include review of all training packages to be submitted; present the confirmation brief for each training activity to the Government. Attend technical meetings, conferences, design reviews, and/or training regarding technology pursuit, advancements, and equipment designs at Government direction. Directly support Government assigned staff and IC Partners on force modernization, operational assessment, and evaluation projects as they pertain to instruction topics. Monitored network performance. 2 years of experience utilizing CNO principles and operations, cellular technology, TCP/IP network traffic analysis, SQL implementation, computer programming and scripting, and 802.xx and IP-based protocols.
