Senior Socio-Cultural Analysts will: Conduct All-Source analytic production of both standard and non-standard human geography (HG), as defined by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), which is “a major field of geography concerned with how place, space, and environment are both conditions of and consequences of human activities and human characteristics.” Analysis includes, but is not limited to, religious, linguistic, ethnic, social, tribal, and occupational domains in relation to geography and resources to characterize the dynamics of human groups worldwide. Incorporates expertise in sociology, cultural anthropology, demography, psychology, geography, economics, and political science. This includes briefing on the conceptual or theoretical basis for each model and the intended benefits. Provide the capability to exploit necessary data sources and user-controlled variables/indicators to enable users to produce specific datasets within their own exploitation environment. Provide subject matter expertise to select appropriate datasets and recommend weighting factors for various variables/indicators.
