Job description: Our shop is in immediate need for a Quality Control Inspector to Perform routine visual and dimensional inspection and check parts for surface defects, shifts, contours, cleaning, chipping, grinding, blowholes, etc., using standard and prescribed methods, procedures and gauging devices Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain facility quality systems • Oversee painting processes and safety • Maintain systems for checking and verifying process compliance • Ensure effective training in quality control • Performs inspections of raw materials and assemblies made to blueprint • Ensures precise conformance to specifications, tolerances, and workmanship standards • Documents, maintains and records inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database • Identification and maintenance of non-conforming product. • Report findings of quality control audit to the manager. Requirements: • experience in QC/QA inspection • Excellent writing and verbal skills • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel • Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing • General mechanical inspection capabilities • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings/prints • Must be able to use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, etc. • Must be able to communicate with production personnel • Must be able to analyze information and report research results • Must have excellent documentation skills • Must be able to read and write English. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs • Must pass background/drug test Benefits: • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Retirement plan • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday • Overtime Application Question(s): • Are you willing to undergo a background check and drug screen, in accordance with local law and regulations? This position will play a vital role in supporting our field teams by making deliveries to our teams in the field, managing the intake and outflow of materials and inventory in our warehouse, and assisting the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys staying organized, and is ready to grow with a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities • Perform material and equipment deliveries or pickups as needed • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments • Maintain accurate inventory records • Pull and prepare materials and tools for job sites • Monitor stock levels and assist with reordering supplies • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety protocols are followed • Support field technicians with equipment needs and logistics • Coordinate with the Operations team for project equipment orders and shipment Qualifications • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics (preferred, not required) • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus) • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Dependable, punctual, and a team player. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Clean driving record and valid CA Driver’s License. • Must pass a background check, subject to applicable laws. Work Environment • Warehouse and Customer Job Sites. • Work Location: Stockton, CA, with visits to local job sites. • Physical demands: Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Typing and/or writing, talking, and hearing. • Travel required: To and from job sites, dispatched from warehouse; no overnights.
