Position: Service Technician Supervisor: Director of Operations Location: Redmond Position Description: The Service Technician will share responsibility, on a rotating basis, with other company staff as primary contact for 24 hr. customer emergency calls. The Service Technician is responsible for the safe installation and maintenance of customer propane facilities in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. The Service Technician is responsible for setting up new propane tanks, service lines, regulators, and meters. They also change-out existing customer propane facilities as required to meet customer, company, or regulatory needs. The Service Technician will perform safety inspections of customers and company facilities. The Service Technician will be required to perform any job function at the bulk storage facility that is required by the Dir. of Operations. The Service Technician may be required to deliver propane either in the service truck or the bobtail. The Service Technician is responsible for maintaining an adequate level of parts inventory to provide for new and existing customer installations. The Service Technician will participate with the Dir. of Operations in deciding inventory levels of propane storage tanks, regulators, and meters. The Service Technician will assist the Dir. of Operations with technical designs and estimates as required. The Service Technician will perform sales duties in contacting potential customers and preparing job estimate proposals. The Service Technician is responsible for completing all paperwork required by the Customer Service Department. The Service Technician is responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of the service truck. Qualifications: • Current Commercial Driver’s license with endorsements (Class B and HAZMAT) required for vehicle operation in the propane industry. • Current Fitters license from the State Fire Marshals Office • Working experience as a fitter or plumber in the propane or related industry. • Office computer knowledge • Ability to lift/carry up to 80lbs, walk stand sit bend, and kneel • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines • Excellent attention to detail • Good communication skills • Additional Training provided • Drug Testing – CoEnergy is a Drug Free Workplace Personal Attributes: Honest; Organized; Friendly with a good telephone presence; Safety conscious; Detail orientated Clean business appropriate appearance Required Skills: Express a “can-do” positive attitude and make customer service a priority in all interactions. You must demonstrate an ability to ask the appropriate questions to help people make informed decisions based on their needs to determine what powerchair, mobility scooter or other product they require. Duties Include but are not limited to: - Greet customers with smile and acknowledge them when entering the building. - Ask customers questions about usage of product as to direct them to the device that is right for them. - Learn about and be able to demonstrate all product on the show room floor. - Assist with test drives getting units in and out of cars and show how to use the unit properly. - Be able to stoop, bend, and lift. Take apart scooters and power chair and put them back together. - Assist in loading in customers cars if necessary. - Make sure items on the floor are stocked, ready and clean on a regular basis. Replacing items that have sold from the show room floor. - Answer phone calls and emails and be able to refer to the right person and/or answer questions about products. - Cleaning, sweeping, and mopping the showroom floor as needed We are open 30 hours per week.
