Arena Investors, LP (“Arena”) is a global investment firm and merchant capital provider that seeks to generate attractive, risk-adjusted and uncorrelated returns by investing in a highly diversified portfolio across the entire credit spectrum in areas where conventional sources of capital are scarce.  We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Private Credit team which covers direct and indirect private credit, as well as Corporate Investment Grade Private Placements.  Working closely with the Corporate Private Credit team in New York, the successful candidate will be expected to originate, evaluate and execute investment ideas and manage deal processes.  Arena’s investments are typically complex, flexibly structured, geographically / industry agnostic and usually considered to be “non-traditional” or “esoteric” illiquid middle market positions.  The firm follows an investment process that is fundamentals driven and capitalizes upon “process driven wrinkles,” “perceived risk” and other “special situations” in order to generate superior risk-adjusted returns.  Arena has a flexible multi-strategy investment mandate to directly originate and execute corporate, specialty finance, real estate and energy investments.  Transaction sizes typically range from $10 to $50 million. We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Origination team. Our team matches the perfect offtaker with our amazing wind, solar, and storage projects. To do that, we build and maintain a lot of connections so we can share our renewable energy projects with utilities, C&Is, retailers, and others in the Unites States. We share our projects through bilateral discussions and responding to RFPs.   Your primary focus will be as a core member of our East Origination team, covering PJM, MISO and ERCOT. On the East Origination team, you will take on the role of leading our RFP responses, leverage existing and build new connections to enable bilateral discussions, and maintaining our market intelligence.   You will report directly to the Director of Origination and work closely with other members of the Origination team, including the East Origination team lead. You will collaborate extensively across the company with other teams as Scout continues to grow our wind, solar, and storage pipeline.  Responsibilities  Your primary role will be to support the East Origination team.
