Brooklyn Wine Exchange is looking to add to its team of skilled & passionate salespeople. We have served Brooklyn for over 14 years and are proud of the exceptional customer experience we provide (along with some pretty darn good wines!) We are seeking friendly and outgoing applicants that have appropriate experience, whether retail or restaurant (sommeliers with no previous retail experience are very welcome to apply.) Responsibilities include: - Engaging directly with our knowledgeable customer base to "hand sell" a wide array of producers, including a large selection of natural, biodynamic and organic wines. -Conducting daily in-store wine & spirits tastings for customers. -Organizing and arranging city-wide deliveries for customers. -Assisting in customer check out on a cloud-based Retail POS. -Sales floor maintenance and merchandising. Currently, we are seeking to full-time candidates, at 35-40 hours per week.
