We're looking to a hire a Sales Associate with wine knowledge, previous wine retail, and/or restaurant experience, and the ability to work within a team to physically re-stock the shop. The responsibilities will include: -Recommend and pair wine and spirits for specific customer needs while sharing your experience, knowledge and understanding of wine and spirits. -Assist team members in day to day responsibilities such as lifting wine boxes from the cellar to the sales floor, fulfilling online and shipping orders, receiving deliveries, pricing wine, re-stocking shelves and coolers, and maintaining a clean shop appearance and aesthetic. -Focus on driving in-store sales while providing world class hospitality and a superior customer experience. -Provide support with E-commerce, newsletters, and administrative tasks as delegated. Shawn Fine Wine is a busy shop and we are looking for a candidate who loves to work in a fast paced environment, is personable, outgoing, and a self-starter. Applicant must be trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and hospitable. The most important characteristic is being able to make our customers feel welcome and to always be available when they need recommendations and provide genuine customer service if problem-solving customer issues. Our customers keep coming back to see our friendly and familiar neighborhood faces. We want them to always feel welcome and taken care of. Position is 25-35hrs per week.
