We have a shop located in Lakeside and everything is hand made there. We do all of our live streaming there as well. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Customer service and sales experience in a retail environment is desirable Possess basic computer knowledge and experience (ie. Use of MS Word is helpful) Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 40 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Farmstand Crew needed! Hutchins Farm is seeking motivated, outgoing individuals to work in our busy Farm Stand and Farmers’ Market stalls. Work involves washing and preparing produce for sale, building displays, creating signage, ringing up customers and keeping our sales area clean and welcoming. Friendly, helpful demeanor is a must; interest in local, organic food and retail experience are desirable. Applicants should be able to lift 50+ lbs, and be able to stand for long periods of time. Our farmstand is open now through the first weekend in November. Applicants should be willing to commit to working at least one weekend day, preferably both. Full-time preferred, part-time possible–exact hours will depend on specific job description. Farm stand workdays begin at 9am or 10am depending on the shift and end around 3:30pm or 6:30pm depending on the shift, with an unpaid hour for lunch. Farmers’ Market hours vary by the day.
