Client: Aviation Position: GIS Analyst Pay: $85K Location: Tampa, FL - This hybrid position requires you to work at least four (4) days or more on-site in the office, based on business needs. Work Authorization: USC or GC   Scope: Under the general direction of the Business Systems Analysis Manager, the GIS Analyst provides both functional and technical support to end users concerning enhancements, issues, and projects related to the Authority's applications. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.   Experience: Two (2) years of experience in GIS Analyst, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or similar experience. Knowledge of Cityworks, and/or ESRI Knowledge of web development such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs Programming skills in languages such as Python, Arcade, or JavaScript   Responsibilities: Obtains a deep understanding of relevant business areas to recommend effective solutions and build high-quality requirements. Compile, attribute, edit, and maintain data in geographic and operational databases, as well as the documentation that goes with it. Assist in the establishment and maintenance of GIS database quality control and assurance procedures. Collaborate with GIS Editors and Data Collectors to establish best data entry practices to ensure GIS data integrity, system performance and efficiencies, and procedure documentation. Provide GIS users with technical support and training on GIS applications and other GIS-related technologies. Assist in the conceptualization, gathering of requirements, analyzing, designing, and configuration of new Web GIS and Mobile GIS applications in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise. Design, configure, test and debug Web GIS and Mobile GIS software applications according to specifications as assigned. Documents current processes and models to identify inefficiencies or gaps in operations. Identifies and assists in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business processes for improved efficiency. Troubleshoots software issues and identify root causes of problems for resolution. Plans application system upgrades, installs new releases, and assists with migrations to ensure system integrity

This role is part of the Business Intelligence function within Financial Planning & Analysis and reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance & Investor Relations.    Location  This role is based at Evolv’s headquarters in Waltham, MA, with flexibility for a hybrid work schedule (a combination of in-office and remote workdays). Our ideal candidate in based in MA with the ability to remote in person at least 3 days per week.   Compensation and Transparency Statement  The base salary range for this full-time position is $58,000- $92,000.
