Key responsibilities include: Conducting inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines to identify repairs needed. Performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Repairing and replacing faulty components, including electrical systems, fuel systems, and mechanical parts. Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including time spent and parts used. Adhering to safety protocols and best practices in all work activities. Requirements To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics or automotive technology preferred. Proven experience working as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

The Mechanic Service Technician position is responsible for solving issues related to the HOG Trucks. The Mechanic Service Technician must be familiar with the Chassis, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Plumbing. Our ideal candidate will have a basic understanding and experience with all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair and may need to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a self-starter with a passion for automotive repairs, we want to hear from you! Specific Responsibilities Include: You will need to be able to use various hand tools and power tools, read and interpret manuals and schematics, and troubleshoot problems. In addition, you should have good customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with our customers during offsite work. • Operate and inspect Hog trucks to diagnose defects. • Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul Hog vehicles (trucks), their engines, and assemblies, such as hydraulic and electrical systems. • Maintain, repair, and rebuild Hog trucks, functional components, and parts. • Examine and inspect truck components to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems. • Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. • Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that vehicle is safe and ready for operation. • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. • Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance. • Modify systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. • Inspect vehicles for wear or other defects and measure parts for wear, using precision instruments. • Obtain fuel and oil samples and check them for contamination. • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with Hog Technologies specifications. • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. • May anticipate 10% travel . Requirements ***This is an On-Site, not a Remote Job, that may require travel*** Qualifications / Experience: • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent. Vocational/Trade School mechanic training or certification preferred. • Minimum 3 years experience as a Small, Medium or Heavy Truck Mechanic • Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic systems preferred • Skilled in using power and air tools • Must own, and be comfortable using, typical shop tools to assemble a variety of components • Self-disciplined, highly organized, and goal-oriented. • Mechanical aptitude is necessary. • Ability to appropriately represent Hog Technologies to customers worldwide. • Ability to complete the assignment, using mechanical abilities and critical thinking skills, often in remote locations. • Comfortable working independently Must be able to speak, read and write English as part of the job.
