POSITION SUMMARY As a valued member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations along the production line, where you will be tasked with a variety of important job duties that ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes. Your primary responsibilities will include operating production line machinery with care and precision, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting any issues that may arise in the workflow. Facilitate seamless equipment change-overs. Operate mobile equipment to support roll time and meet production demands. Keep your workspace tidy by cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. Ensure safety by turning off and locking out equipment when it's not in use. Adhere to detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Communicate any issues regarding quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor. Execute all tasks in line with quality standards and established safety protocols. We’re currently looking for a Production Team Member for a wonderful company that has been in their industry for over 25 years. This position is located in the fantastic city of Buellton, CA, and is a full-time opportunity. The schedule is Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm. Some weekend and OT work will be required when necessary, and the pay rate for this position is $18 to $20 an hour (DOE). **This position requires a background check and drug test** Duties & Responsibilities: Participate in the handling, formulation, and production of raw ingredients and finished products. Work to ensure compliance with all regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Organize and maintain supplies and equipment, and help maintain a clean and sanitary facility by participating in cleaning protocols. Maintain accurate records, including production schedules, maintenance, cleaning, and inventory. Operate major equipment for the manufacturing and in-house transportation of dietary supplements and raw ingredients. Communicate well with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth and effective production process. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, and equipment and facilities are operated safely and correctly. Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have a positive, willing attitude and work well within a group. Must have the ability to stoop, bend and safely lift reasonable amounts of weight, and spend significant portions of your workday on your feet. Must be able to work a regular 40-hour week with scheduled overtime, including some evening/weekend shifts. Job Summary: The Punch Prep Technician for Essel is responsible for preparing and setting up equipment and materials for the punch press operation and performing fire caulking tasks. This role involves ensuring all components are accurately prepared to meet production standards, maintaining equipment, performing fire caulking to ensure fire safety compliance, and adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Setup and Preparation: Prepare and set up punch press machines according to production requirements. Load materials into machines and ensure proper alignment and calibration. Perform pre-operation inspections to verify that equipment is functioning correctly. Fire Caulking: Apply fire-resistant caulking to designated areas to maintain fire barriers and prevent the spread of fire. Ensure that caulking materials meet fire safety codes and standards. Inspect and repair existing caulking to maintain effective fire resistance. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of punch press machines. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with equipment and materials. Report major malfunctions or equipment failures to the maintenance team. Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results. Document and report any discrepancies or quality issues to the supervisor. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure fire caulking tasks comply with relevant fire safety codes and regulations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is a plus. Previous experience working with punch press machines or in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with fire caulking or knowledge of fire safety codes is highly desirable. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machine operation. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Proficient in using measurement tools and gauges. Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. POSITION SUMMARY Assembles Mechanical products and mechanical assemblies to meet drawing specifications, working at bench or on shop floor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilizes basic assembly techniques to assemble components correctly. Uses hand tools, powered drivers, torque wrenches, and other basic hand tools. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners as required by drawing specifications. Ability to learn to recognize potential quality deficiencies in assemblies and notifies department lead of such concerns. Assisting the plant with shipping and receiving activities. Operates drill presses, arbor presses, or various other machines to assist in assembly operation. Performs basic quality assurance functions to ensure sub-assemblies meet specifications. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Assists with loading and unloading large crates of product. We are looking for CDL drivers with 1+ years of experience for the 2025 Pistachio season in the Central Valley. We expect a 2 month season with day and night shifts available. Drivers will haul loads from a processing facility to local dairies and compost yards. All loads are loaded by shuttle operators and drivers are responsible for taking pre-loaded trailers from the processing plant to their delivery locations as loads are available. This is a fast paced work environment with plenty of loads to make. Drivers can expect to make $1,500/week and as much as $2,500/week depending on load volume. We offer an end of season bonus of 10% of all earnings made on all seasonal loads hauled.
