Hi Indie Rock/Alt Rock/Americana Musicians! INDIE ROCK DEN music camp for adult musicians is built for people who love Vintage Indie Music, Modern Indie Music, Alternative rock music and Americana/Roots Music. Singers, acoustic & electric guitarists, electric bassists, and drummers, these blissful music camps are for you! IRD meets on Thursdays for 4 weeks from 7pm-8:30pm at El Diablo Guitars in the Seward Minneapolis neighborhood! We start up Thursday, August 21st! Easy free parking, cool neighborhood, cool store! - IRD is perfect for serious passionate music hobbyists, weekend warriors, emerging and reemerging adult musicians! - You will receive personal PRO music instruction throughout the entire camp! You'll get better at your instrument, build confidence and performance skills! Coaches & mentors include national recording & touring artist Mike Michel of The Orange Goodness (guitar, bass, vocals) Mike Michel has toured extensively and shared the stage with many indie rockers like Keane, Andrew Bird, Soul Asylum, Haley, Iffy, The Jayhawks and Of Montreal. You get an experienced educator, performer and writer who cares. Mike has also founded & created successful community music programs for adult and teen musicians like Rock Camp For Dads, Peace Den and Rock For A Cause. - Mike will include weekly custom instruction videos and easy to follow charts of each song chosen for your at home music practice! You get a cool perk of a 24/7 music text thread, just in case you have any music questions during off hours. You will not find this level of immersive music coaching service at any other camp in The TC's. -You'll and meet like minded musicians and life long music friends -Weekly songs are partially prescribed form our IRD music catalog and song pitches from the musicians. We make sure our set list gels with everyone! Musicians receive custom pdf's each week and receive in house instruction and music tips each rehearsal. -The goal is to give you an authentic, realistic and memorable rock and roll experience! Having fun is job number one but we want you to learn new music skills too! Music is a communal art form and learning how to play with others is important! - We ask that you've spent at least 1+ years on your individual instrument. You know the basics and have forward momentum!
