POSITION SUMMARY The Structural Packaging Designer will reimagine and redesign all aspects of our consumer-facing packaging, including supplement bottles, product containers, shipping vessels, sample packs, and direct mail materials. This role will collaborate closely with the design team to develop creative concepts and work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and product development to create sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging solutions. Strong knowledge of FTC, FDA, and other regulatory requirements for packaging design, layout, and messaging. Deep understanding of production cost models, designing to meet target pricing and margins, and defining capital equipment needs to commercialize new products while justifying expenditures. Insightful understanding of consumer preferences and market packaging trends. Proactively identify and resolve packaging challenges, drive innovation, optimize processes, and implement cost-saving, environmentally responsible solutions. Creative and articulate, capable of collaborating with ProCaps’ founder and departmental leaders throughout the design process. Highly motivated with exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
