The Office of Public Engagement (GPA/OPE) requires a Management Analyst to support the office’s mission of promoting domestic understanding of U.S. foreign policy, the mission of the State Department, and the value of diplomacy. Job Duties: Manage the office’s contact management database (Salesforce CRM) including working with OPE staff to ensure contacts are kept up to date in CRM, running reports for targeted outreach campaigns, managing the invitation and RSVP process for events, and optimizing CRM functions to support the office’s outreach efforts. Support the Director and Deputy Director, developing office expertise in domestic stakeholder audiences through open source research related to the Secretary’s foreign policy priorities. Serve as main point of contact for GPA’s digital content offices to assist the Director and Deputy Director in developing digital and email outreach campaigns for targeted audiences. Prepare outreach materials including emails, newsletters, and program one-pagers for internal and external audiences. Collect reporting data from OPE officers and enter into required bureau reporting templates. Maintain calendars and trackers of office activities, ensuring they are up to date and accurate. Serve as notetaker for internal and external meetings. Draft summaries of OPE activities for reports to Department leadership. Support OPE events and engagements by drafting and sending invitations, reserving rooms, escorting visitors, and preparing after action reports. Participate in efforts to evaluate the current effectiveness of the OPE’s domestic outreach programs and identify opportunities for improvement to Director and Deputy Director .
