The Role: As a Commercial Analyst / Associate at YouLend, you will be on-site in the office, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial initiatives and strategic projects. You will collaborate with various functions across the business, including Partnerships, Account Management, Transformation, Product, and Legal, to deliver impactful results. Your work will be crucial in supporting new business development, optimising performance tracking, and spearheading strategic projects to foster business growth. Requirements Performance tracking and optimisation: Analyse business performance to provide weekly commercial insights across our markets. Build and maintain commercial models, including monthly forecasts, and communicate updates to stakeholders. Prepare quarterly reviews of new and existing partners to be presented to Partnerships and Account Management teams. Produce reports using YouLend’s CRM-system and BI-tools to facilitate access to relevant information Ability to communicate at a high and in-depth level with internal and external stakeholder Strategic projects / growth opportunities: Identify and manage initiatives that drive business growth. Support YouLend’s expansion to new geographies, identifying and resolving any blockers to ensure timely progress.   Supporting new business development: Lead RFP responses and coordinating with relevant business functions. Working closely with Strategic Partnership teams to ensure they have best-in-class support and materials to perform their duties (e.g. client-facing materials, commercial insights, knowledge on latest product/process changes) Conduct research on specific partners/verticals and present relevant insights for commercial discussions. Assist with new partner launches and ensure a successful go-live process. Ability to go beyond running the numbers and understanding what they mean for the business and how to proceed forward with an actionable plan Skills required to succeed on this role: Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing complex data to uncover insights. Able to create and maintain models for predicting and optimise commercial outcomes. Project Management: Able to lead focused efforts and manage small to medium initiatives efficiently. Ability to prioritize tasks, set timelines, and coordinate cross-functional activities. Data Management Skills: Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, modelling, and visualisation. Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus. Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear and engaging documents. Experience or a strong desire to learn document presentation skills, particularly in PowerPoint, is essential for effectively communicating insights and recommendations. Quick Learning & Adaptability: Quick to grasp new concepts and technologies.
