Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Therapeutic Radiation Therapist to join our innovative oncology team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients with cancer, following established protocols to ensure patient safety and effective treatment delivery. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, operating radiation therapy equipment, administering radiation therapy under the guidance of a radiation oncologist, and monitoring patients throughout the treatment process. You will also collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families during their treatment journey. A valid and active certification in Radiation Therapy is required. Candidates must possess an active state license and be U.S. Citizens. This position offers a standard Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call duties, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Prepare and administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after treatments, documenting any changes or concerns. Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and improve patient care plans. Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid and active certification as a Radiation Therapist. Active state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. U.S. Citizenship required.
