Seeking caregivers with AFH experience for our beautiful Adult Foster Home in SW Portland. Weekend shift available immediately for training for the right person. **** Potential for 1 additional day available for the right person. Pay: $300 per 24-hour shift and up to 8 hours of sleep per shift. No regular night care needs. *************Hiring a Co-licensee to be trained for Monday- Friday live in position! Amazing opportunity to become a Licensee in an established and successful business AND receive a stable salary! - RM or Licensee experience required in an AFH - Good references a must - Reliability is a must with NO attendance issues**** Primary licensee will not be able to work or cover shifts - Co- Licensee will be responsible for all basic RM duties as well as: - Hiring and maintaining weekend staff and vacation/holiday coverage for the home - Keeping up on all documentation and relicensing duties on a yearly basis - Collaberate with primary licensee on choosing new clients and filling rooms for the home ***Salary will be DOE ***** Basic caregiver QUALIFICATIONS: Completion, or ability to complete of DSHS approved AFH minimum qualifications. -Familiarity with medication administration procedures. -Ability to pass a background check. -Pre-service dementia training (can be completed after hire). -HCBS online training (can be completed after hire). -CPR and First Aid certification- American Heart Association or American Red Cross only- (can be completed after hire). Daily RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to multitask many activities and follow a daily schedule with timeframes Assist residents with daily tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Administer and manage medications Prepare and cook three meals daily Perform light housekeeping tasks Offer companionship and emotional support Document client progress and report unusual incidents Respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies Contact us directly at 503.374.4175 for a phone interview
