The mission of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Department of Public Safety is to protect life and property, maintain order, investigate crimes, enforce all applicable laws and ordinances, protect natural resources, enforce Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Fishing, Hunting, and Forest codes, investigate violations, arrest and issue citations on violators within the boundaries of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Reservation and within the boundaries of the Point No Point Treaty Area. The Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe, originally known as the Nux Sklai Yem or The Strong People, are descendants of the Salish peoples with ancestral ties to the Kitsap Peninsula that date back at least 1,000 years. Salary is competitive with range dependent on experience and individual qualifications. Job Summary: The Business Office Representative provides support for the Business Office. Most work at this level involves enrolling for and maintaining continuing health coverage eligibility for clients in the WA Healthplanfinder system. As needed, assist with billing, front desk coverage, and Purchased Referred Care (PRC) duties. This position is regular and full-time.
