Full Time Specimen Collector   Location: Wasilla, AK Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday 11:00am to 5:00pm (30 hours/week)   Help make a positive impact in your community!  Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor use of prescription medications and illicit drugs supporting improved clinical decision-making as part of treatment for millions of Americans with chronic pain, mental illness, and substance use disorders.   The Specimen Collector is a key role at Millennium Health.  As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory.   As a Specimen Collector:  Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens  Process and package collections for shipping Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory  Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite  Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable) Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required Requirements Ideal Candidate:   6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer required Valid driver’s license required Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus Ability to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.  Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to High School diploma or equivalent required Physical requirements: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs.   Millennium Health is a CLIA Certified and CAP Accredited specialty laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. You will work closely with patients and healthcare staff to provide compassionate and thorough imaging services. Key Responsibilities: Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process. Operate mammography equipment safely and maintain quality control records for imaging devices. Perform breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies as needed. Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record systems. Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and optimize patient care. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety. Requirements Qualifications: Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography. Minimum of 3 year of experience in mammography is required. Strong knowledge of mammography techniques, positioning, and safety protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations. Flexible availability to work on a per diem basis as needed. CRT Radiology License Requires proof of mammography Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU's in Mammography in the last 36-month period Requires proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training. CRT Mammography License Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 3D breast imaging (tomosynthesis). Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mammographic imaging.
