Yoakum Community Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in the Family Practice Clinic. The ideal candidate will perform essential duties under the close supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Lead Nurse, and will be accountable for all patient care provided during their shift. This role requires adherence to all Standards of Nursing Care and a strong commitment to promoting teamwork. Key responsibilities may include: Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and accurately documenting patient information in the electronic medical record. Administering injections and routine office treatments such as nebulizer, ear lavage, and peak flow. Assisting with patient flow and scheduling diagnostic procedures, clinic appointments, and hospital procedures. Handling phone calls, including screening calls from patients for the provider and calling in new or refilling medications. Ensuring exam rooms are clean, orderly, and well-stocked. Maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements 3 to 5 years of previous medical assistant experience in an office-based practice is required. Director of Therapy Services
POSITION PURPOSE Under general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Therapy Services is responsible for directing the overall functions of Rehabilitation Services, both inpatient and outpatient.  Coordinate and supervise operations of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, & Speech Therapy departments. Serves as the Program Coordinator for Inpatient Rehab.  Administer physical agents prescribed by a referring physician; and maintain performance improvement activities within the department.  Evaluates performance and ensures competency of all staff members; assists in formulating budget, evaluates department performance versus budget and takes appropriate action to remain within budget guidelines.  Maintains efficient and effective department operations while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Establishes policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the treatment of patients; coordinates with other departments to provide maximum level of total care for patients. Avant Tech is hiring a talented Mammography Technologist to join our exceptional healthcare team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. You will work closely with patients and healthcare staff to provide compassionate and thorough imaging services. Key Responsibilities: Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Prepare patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process. Operate mammography equipment safely and maintain quality control records for imaging devices. Perform breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies as needed. Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record systems. Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and optimize patient care. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety. Requirements Qualifications: Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
