Licensure: Active New York State RN License; Current BLS & PALS certifications (ACLS preferred). Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center. Technical Skills: Strong EMR experience (EPIC proficiency essential). Soft Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor and interpret complex patient data and vital signs. Operate and manage specialized critical care equipment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team. Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPIC. Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies. Educate patients and families.
