We want to hire an additional receptionist/sales person. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be detail oriented, efficient at multi-tasking, and have the ability to meet with patients in a professional and friendly manner. Primary duties include communicating with patients on the phone or chat, scheduling patient exams and appointments, greeting patients and other business associates, and providing a variety of front desk administrative duties. We would like to hire someone with experience, but we are willing to train someone with excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn. We are into cross training so hires can expect to be trained to be Optometric Technicians and/or Opticians if they have the desire. Must have good computer skills; experience with Compulink software a plus but not necessary.

Willingness to complete State of Maine Certified Intentional Peer Support training or have CIPSS certification. Willingness to actively participate in agency sponsored trainings related to this position. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage meaningfully with program participants. Excellent record of attendance and punctuality. Ability to engage in strengths-based interactions and maintain respect for all program participants. Ability to perform productively and responsibly in situations with minimal supervision. Ability to move towards positive goals and outcomes. Understanding of and belief in the peer support model.
