Management of RNs, LVNs, CNAs, Companions that work in the field from 4-24 hours/day. Position includes field supervisory visits occasionally for inspection of home charts with clients/nurses and interfacing with existing QA/QI nurse and training field staff on paperwork individually and in group orientation. Orientation of field staff weekly. Run office staff meeting with exisiting office manager/administrator. Occassional marketing of business services/working exhibit booths with RN Administrator. Evaluation of field staff preformance and writing up staff that don't preform. Support of RN Owner in providing quality care to patient's homes ~ you do have a say in who works! Interviewing new prospects to work in the field. Plenty of clerical support so you will not be dealing with clerical duties! Small Agency where you have a say in policies/procedures. Looking for "hands on" manager with good/positive energy to motivate 4 staffing coordinators/other office staff! Prefer computer skills & ability to audit/prepare 485s. PREFER PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH PRIVATE DUTY HOME CARE. PREFER RN WHO WILL FILL IN AT PATIENT'S HOMES IN EMERGENCIES (VERY RARE).
