Dental Practice Manager - Lead, manage, and expand the dental practice, ensuring the provision of high- quality services as well as efficient and profitable business operations. Duties include: 1. Analyzing and evaluating business practices to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions across all areas of the practice, including dental regulations and standards, budgeting, accounting, billing, insurance, regulatory compliance, and marketing to attract new patients and retain existing ones. 2. Handling the practice’s financial administration including budgeting, billing, and processing insurance claims, including overseeing all insurance claims and billing processes for multiple insurance providers/policies. 3. Working closely with multiple dental insurance providers to determine coverage for various procedures and treatments. 4. Developing and implementing procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, laws, and standards at the federal, state, and local levels, including HIPAA. 5. Providing recommendations to enhance patient care and satisfaction, including guidance on the latest dental procedures and equipment, based on in-depth knowledge of dental procedures and treatments, including their corresponding Current Dental Terminology codes. 6. Assisting with staff training on new procedures and best practices. 7. Utilizing specialized dental tools and technologies, including Dentrix and Dexis software, panoramic X-ray technology, and Dexis Platinum Sensor. 8. Fostering positive team dynamics and resolving conflicts. 9. Reviewing policies and procedures, guidelines, and clinical protocols for dental programs at least once a year. 10. Implementing modern technologies and best practices to support autonomous processes and a paperless office. 11. Working with the owner to develop marketing strategies to attract new patients, grow the business, and serve community needs, as well as developing outside referrals and creating alliances with primary care, specialty physicians, and other dental specialists. 12. Maintaining working knowledge of competitors in the marketplace and staying well networked. Position located in Phoenix, AZ and requires: (1) High school diploma or foreign equivalent education. (2) Two years of experience as a dental practice manager or management consultant for a dental practice, including each of the following: (a) Financial administration including budgeting, billing, and processing insurance claims; (b) Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, laws, and standards, including those protecting patient health information; (c) Developing outside referrals and creating alliances with primary care, specialty physicians, and other dental specialists; (d) Maintaining working knowledge of competitors in the marketplace and staying well networked; (e) Working with various dental procedures and treatments, including their corresponding Current Dental Terminology codes; (f) Working with multiple dental insurance providers to determine coverage and billing process for various procedures and treatments; (g) Using dental-specific tools and technologies, including Dentrix and Dexis software; and (h) Using panoramic X-ray technology and Dexis Platinum Sensor. (3) Full-time work schedule Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm; Saturday 8am to 1pm. Salary $78,500/year. We are an equal opportunity employer. This person must be self-motivated to ensure all maintenance is scheduled and completed within budget allowance.
