This role is vital in ensuring that our clients receive the necessary support to maintain their independence and dignity. Duties: - - Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming - Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients - Monitor and record vital signs as needed - Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being - Assist with patient observation, noting any changes in behavior or health status - Support individuals with memory care needs through structured activities and routines - Provide hospice care as required, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times - Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients Qualifications: - ** Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred ** Background in social work or related fields is a plus ** Knowledge of patient care techniques, including vital signs monitoring and meal preparation ** Familiarity with hospice care practices is advantageous ** Strong observational skills to identify changes in client condition or behavior ** Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families ** Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others If you are passionate about providing quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
