We are hiring a skilled Registered Nurse to conduct new and existing client assessments for Medicaid in the DMV area. Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of one year of nursing experience as a R.N CPR and first Aid Certification up to date RN license (Required) Clean criminal background (Required) Experience with Conducting Medicaid assessments (Required) Responsibilities: Demonstrate proficient skills in assessing potential and current client’s condition Observe and supervise client care administered by caregivers in accordance with plan of care notes Maintain compliance with agency policy and procedures Follow Medicaid regulations Perform the initial home care patient visit and re-evaluate the patient’s needs and progress on a regular basis Initiate the plan of care under doctor’s orders Perform admission, transfer, re-certification, resumption of care, and discharge for the home care patient. basic computer skill for assessments and re-assessments (willing to train on current software to right candidate) Educate patients and caregivers on disease process, medications, plan of care, and individualized treatment plans.
