About Us Safta is a Mediterranean-Israeli restaurant located in the heart of Brooklyn. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality, fresh vibrant flavors, and creating memorable dining experiences. We are seeking Servers who are passionate about food, people, and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities • Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu with confidence and knowledge. • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. • Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally. • Provide recommendations, upsell specials, and pairings that reflect Safta’s cuisine. • Ensure tables are set, clean, and maintained throughout service. • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary. • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Qualifications • Prior serving experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant preferred. • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service. • Excellent communication and hospitality skills. • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach. • NYC Food Handler’s License a plus (or willingness to obtain).

This role requires strong leadership to train, motivate, and supervise staff, maintain accurate inventory and cost controls, optimize kitchen operations, manage commissary products, and support the General Manager in menu execution. The Kitchen Manager is a hands-on leader capable of expediting, covering stations, and upholding the restaurant’s standards of excellence in service and safety. Key Responsibilities Operations & Compliance Monitor cleanliness of all prep, storage, and service kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with NYC Department of Health standards.
