Role Snapshot: Hands-on leader who runs the packaging station, organizes large catering drops, and trains a small front-of-house crew. Core Responsibilities: - Package line lead: build bags, verify sauces + bread, keep cold vs hot separated. - Catering coordination: stage, label, and load 30-200-meal orders; direct drivers. - Team training: certify staff on packing SOPs and Day-1 checklist. - Shift metrics: ≤ 1 % packing errors, driver wait ≤ 10 min, labor on budget. - Inventory touches: daily pars on disposables, sauces, pitas; trigger re-orders. - Guest recovery: handle on-site fixes, comps/refunds. Must-Have Experience - 2-3 yrs leading packaging or catering ops at a fast-casual restaurant doing high-volume boxed meals. - Comfortable with catering companies (Forkable, Sharebite, ZeroCater, DoorDash, etc.). - Proven trainer can write or enforce an SOP. - CA Food Handler Card (ServSafe Manager a plus). - Lift 40 lb, stand 8 hrs, stay cool under pressure. - Basic Sheets/Excel for daily accuracy logs.
