Due to the security requirements of the facility, candidates MUST be US Citizens. We are a strong team that runs breakfast and lunch shifts, including catering, Monday through Friday, 5:30AM-2:00PM. We are looking to add a team member to our deli station. Responsibilities would be to prep breakfast grab and go items as well as operate the deli station during our lunch shift. Our diverse team is made up of individuals with different skills and backgrounds with a common goal of creating an excellent dining experience for our customers. We are looking for individuals who have experience with the following or have interest in developing their own skills in a kitchen environment. Examples of tasks include the following: · Set up and prep deli and salad bar stations. · Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, and mixing. · Maintain inventory and help with supply orders. · Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. · Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces. · Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. · Ensures that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion. · Maintains a professional approach with coworkers and customers. About you: Experience in the industry is highly desirable but not necessary. Understanding the business operations is key to your success. To be successful in this role, experience in the following areas are preferred: · Experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook. (Deli/catering experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.) · Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. · Familiar with industry best practices. · Basic written and verbal communication skills · Organizational skills. · Accuracy and speed in executing tasks. · Ability to work as a team member. · Follows directions and instructions.
