Apply Here: https://www.boujiemana.com/apply Position Overview: BoujieMana is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our back-of-house kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and takes pride in a sparkling clean kitchen. This position focuses on early mornings, late-night shifts after service, and Sunday deep cleaning. Key Responsibilities: • Perform detailed cleaning of all kitchen areas, including prep stations, cooking equipment, walk-ins, walls, floors, drains, and storage areas. • Sanitize and disinfect surfaces according to health and safety regulations. • Maintain cleanliness of hood vents, grease traps, and other high-use equipment. • Empty, clean, and reline trash and recycling bins. • Restock cleaning supplies and alert management when inventory is low. • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard after service or before operations begin. • Support with additional deep cleaning projects on Sunday afternoons. This is the time to clean under equipment, clean walls, ceiling tiles etc. Bottom side of the tables etc. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards required in a commercial kitchen. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Requirements: • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting preferred. • Ability to work early mornings (5–10am) and/or late nights (after 10pm), and Sunday afternoons or all day Monday. (these are the times when we are closed). • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning checklists. We want someone that cares about BoujieMana as much as we care about our customers and community. • Physical stamina – ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols. • Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
