Experienced Bartender Wanted (Brooklyn)

Pasta Louise is looking for SUPER friendly and talented Bartenders to join our team. We're a local fresh pasta restaurant that has endeared itself to the hearts of neighboring Park Slope diners. We deliver consistently attentive, friendly service and have built our culture as a very positive and inclusive work environment. Our beautiful and spacious location features a very special vintage bar, which will serve as the focal point of our shiny new restaurant. Our cocktail menu has been strongly influenced by Italian and classic American cocktails. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. NOW YOU GO! CAN YOU ... Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for main bar and service Greet and interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks Develop expert knowledge of both food and beverage menu Pick up a small section near bar to serve as needed Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to expertly and efficiently prepare cocktails Assist in promoting specials (food AND beverage) Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations AND DO YOU HAVE... Resume and proven working experience as a bartender Three solid, supervisory professional references Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks POS experience (Square, Toast, Etc) EXTREMELY POSITIVE and FRIENDLY attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean NYC Food Protection Certification a + IF YOU'VE BEEN NODDING YOUR HEAD A LOT, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY APPLY...
