We are still HIRING for the fall season. We have openings this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Start working this week! In urgent need of 1-2 cooks and more concession workers. Sunday availability is a must plus we have lots of other shifts as well. Most work is at Hudson Gardens with some shifts at 13th Floor Haunted House (located in Denver) Why work for us: -Free meal each shift -Work in a fun event based environment. Pumpkin event or Haunted House -Uniform is simple, just an apron and hat, otherwise wear what you want (needs to be appropriate) -Great pay for seasonal part time job. Now hiring for Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns event at Hudson Gardens in Littleton. Make up to $30/hour (hourly rate plus tips) Come be apart of this fun and unique event that features thousands of hand carved pumpkins lit up and carved into awesome displays. We are looking for and hiring fun, energetic, and food trained concessions workers to help serve our awesome guests fresh event themed food and drinks. From turkey legs and corn dogs to loaded fries and sausage on a stick to hot cider and hot chocolate to pumpkin pie and ice cream, you can help make and serve all these delicious items for families, couples, friends, and much more enjoying this one of a kind event. Event starts on Sept 19th and goes through November 2 on select nights. If you have food service experience and need some extra money and want to work in a fun Halloween environment, let us know. Shifts start around 4-6pm at night and can go to 10pm or midnight depending on the night. All shifts are at night and include weekend nights. If you run a non-profit group and want to fundraise, we can help your group out. Work will include cashier, fry cook, food assembly, drink making and other food service responsibilities. Duties & Responsibilities: Creates seasonal menus one month in advance. Weekly menus should include a shopping list with all ingredients and portions necessary to feed a certain number of residents. Creates and manages schedules for all Chefs across the facilities.   TITLE: HOUSEKEEPING PAY: $16.35/hr. HOURS: 8:30 am-4:30 pm GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual occupying this position is responsible for providing routine cleaning and upkeep of the facility to which he/she is assigned.  The housekeeper is under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONS: Vacuums all carpeted areas, dry mops all tiled floors except those in restroom and kitchen areas on a daily basis.   Cleans and sanitizes all fixtures in restroom areas on a daily basis.   Empties all trash receptacles daily and dusts all furniture once a week or as appropriate.   Places all collected trash in the designated location at the designated time for appropriate pickup and disposal.   Cleans all glass doors and adjacent window areas at least once a week.   Spot cleans all heavily soiled walls, woodwork and furniture periodically or as necessary.   Performs other related chores as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.     PREREQUISITES & QUALIFICATIONS; Ability to read and write English at basic levels   High school diploma or equivalent preferred.   Previous experience in working in housekeeping and/or building maintenance for a minimum of one year.   Valid driver’s license in good standing required.   COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Knowledge of the facility to which assigned.   Thorough knowledge of routine housekeeping tasks and procedures.   Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.   Ability to maintain basic records neatly and legibly.   Ability to maintain effective working relationships with associates.
